 Sindri was great!

We worked over a pole courses that was set up in the arena.

We worked on trotting a lot in our warm up - just working on circles, changing bend, and going over some poles. When we cantered he was very good got his left lead first try and got his right lead on the second try.

After we had cantered we worked at the trot again because he kept anticipating the canter and wouldn't settle his trot. We were eventually able to get some really good trot sections, but it's something we are gonna work on.

We started by piecing together our course starting with the outside line and halting straight after the line.

Then we trotted our diagonal and halted straight.

And then we cantered our single and halted straight.

He was very good for all of that so we put it all together and he did great other than getting a little speedy before the diagonal to swap his lead - but we still got our change, now we just have to work on not running into the jump/pole that we swap our lead over.

He did the course very well overall so I let him finish on that but there are some thing's were going to work on from that ride like staying soft at the trot even though we've cantered, and not rushing into our lead changes.
