Sindri felt great, it feels like we're finally making progress to get back to where we were before everything happened. He felt great in our warm-up, he trotted really nicely. He was tight through his neck and back at the start, but he softened through the warm-up. When we warmed up at the canter, he felt really good. He was round through his body and was carrying himself more than he normally does. A lot of times, I end up holding him together, but we’ve been working on getting him to carry himself a bit better. There was a line of about 6 cones up the centerline of the arena, so we did a lot of leg yielding work with the cones. We trotted through them for the first time, and I realized to cones were set very close together (chai had trouble making it through them at a trot, so you can tell it was quite tight), so we really had to stay together if we wanted to make it through.
